Flight Information
Some airline companies offer regular flights to Ponta Delgada, on the island of São Miguel. SATA Air Açores has daily flights to Santa Maria departing from the airport of Ponta Delgada, and also connecting the island with the others of the archipelago.

Public transport to the conference venue
The conference venue is conveniently located in the centre of the city. To reach the venue, we encourage the use of public transportation. The bus company operating in the airport TSM (Transportes de Santa Maria) provides a coach service between several locations on the island and the airport, daily 08:30 to 19:05 (working days) and 08:05 to 13:05 (weekends and public holidays).
Taxi
Another good option to get to the conference site is travelling together with 2 or 3 people by taking a taxi. A taxi from the airport to the conference site takes approximately 5-10 minutes.
